Unit 1:
I made this little box tray thing with a lid. I planned just to make a box with a machbox kind of vibe I saw on Pinterest, then make a lid, then paint I forgot to take a picture of the bottom, but it was literally just turquoise and orange. I really like how this turned out. I wouldn't change anything. I just made a slab and put an edge on it.
I don't have a photo of it before underglaze or finished (Ik im sorry), but I also loved this piece, it works as a good incense holder and is really cute. My plan was to make a marine life slab that could be used for jewelry or incense, and just make a lot of marine life little things and put it on it.
I threw 2 bowls to mid-fire them because I want to make a dish set to have when I go off to college, they haven't been fired yet, but if I had to do them differently, I would make them bigger and taller.
I tried to make this a vase, but it fully dried out, and I had to scrap it. If I had to do it again, I would not let it dry out and do the slabs better. My plan was to make a vase like it was, but put a squiggly handle on it and carve it to be a moonish face.
