Unit 3
Planning: I saw a photo of a mug with this kind of patchwork quilt painting, and I really liked it and wanted to do something similar.
Execution: I threw a bowl/cup and then just painted it in sections.]
What I'd do differently: I don't really like the shape of the cup I would probably make a better-shaped tea cup next time.
Planning: I knew I wanted to make a cup like this for my coffee, and I really like lady bugs so thats what I decided to put on it.
Making: I made the cup with slaps, then painted it green and painted the lady bugs and caterpillar on top.
Change: I really like this project if I hyad to change anything it would be how many lady bugs, I think I did a few too many.
Planning: I didn't get a photo of the finished paint job, but when it's out of the kiln, I will put one up. I knew I wanted to paint something with the hungry caterpillar, so I did a plate.
Making: I slump molded the plate, then I painted the apple and caterpillar around it.
Change: I would probably change the color of the caterpillar to brighter greens i think they were to muted.
